How many lessonS do I need?
The DVSA states "There’s no minimum number of lessons you must have or hours you must practice driving." However "On average, it takes people 45 hours of driving lessons with a driving instructor and 22 hours of practice with family or friends to learn to drive."
In my experience most pupils who pass first time have had between 40 - 60 hours with me, depending on their ability to practice privately alongside their driving lessons.
I offer weekly 2hr driving lessons, normal once or twice a week. I do not offer intensive driving courses.

Pass Plus Course
(6 hours Post Test normally taken as 2x 3hr lessons)
Pass Plus is a practical training course that takes at least 6 hours and is for drivers to improve their skills and drive more safely, after their driving test. Completing Pass Plus may entitle you to a car insurance discount. Pass Plus can be taken at any time although it is of most benefit, if done in the first year after passing your driving test.

Lesson Payments: Since the Covid 19 pandemic I am no longer accepting cash. Lesson payments will be via bank transfer and bank details will be provided once first lesson is all booked in. Pupils must be in credit for their lessons, at the latest 48 hours before the lesson.
** If you wish to pay for lessons on a week by week basis, you will be required to make an initial payment of 2 lessons (£154), to maintain a rolling lesson credit on your account.
Lesson cancellation notice period: Please give me as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or move your lesson. Cancellation of a driving lesson within 2 working days notice will be charged the full price of the driving lesson. Although, I will make every effort to rearrange your lesson with you or fill the slot to avoid having to charge you.
For Covid you will not be charged for your lesson if you test positive within 48hrs of your lesson, but you MUST let me know as soon as you possibly can. You will not have another lesson within 10 days and you have tested negative.
